Short and Sweet

Mr. G.  - Cabinet inspector extraordinaire
"No mice here, Mom."
We are all moved in. There's still a lot of jobs to be done, but all the boxes are unpacked and our pictures are hung. I have a million nails to remove and plaster to patch. Good golly, Heather had a lot of things on the walls. Apparently they all required heavy duty plaster anchors.

Mr. G has settled in very well. Lots of windows (with wide sills to lay on). We live on a busy road so there is always plenty to see.

There will be lots of yard work to be done over the next few weeks. With all the rain we've had the weeds have literally had a FIELD DAY.

But we are FINALLY in our own house
and boy, did we sleep WELL last night.

Kathy posted a short and sweet Q & A,
so let's have a go.

1. Do you like to go on guided tours or go it alone.

Both ---- in museums I prefer to go it alone. I like to judge how much time to look at each thing.  But, I have REALLY enjoyed the "city" tours we've done with guides. Charleston and New Orleans both had guides that were amazing.

2. When you go to a yarn shop do you look at all the yarns?

Yes, but I concentrate most heavily on the sock yarns and the "gadgets".

3. When was the last time you swam in a pool?

Back in Orlando. We had our own pool. Our apartment in Jacksonville had a pool, but ............well, let's just leave it at that.

4. What's your favorite college/university team to follow?

TEMPLE  ---- go OWLS!  TEMPLE TOUGH, TEMPLE MADE!

Besides ..... how could you NOT love a team that has STELLA!

Hooter and Stella!

5. What radio station is your car set to?

102.9 WMGK  -- Oldies or 95.7 Ben FM  --- their tag line is ... "we play what we want". But most of the time I listen to my mp3 player plugged into the car system.

  2. Home Sweet Home! You really are a pro at moving (and unpacking). I'm sorry you have to become a pro at removing nails and patching plaster, but you'll soon be a pro at that also! :-)

  8. Plastering, ugh. But it is a job that can be done "here and there" whilst you are living and enjoying your Kitty Approved Home. Yay!

  12. I bet Big G is loving those windowsills! I wish we had some for our cats. I've tried to get Dave to put up some shelves in front a few windows, but he won't go for it. The boys just have to be happy with the sliding glass door.

  13. Congratulations on having all the boxes unpacked. Movers come early tomorrow to pack my things. I am exhausted and can't begin to think about the job of unpacking ahead of me.

Love your efficient critter patrol officer!
